About Dr. P. John Marcucci, Jr.
Dr. P. John Marcucci, Jr. graduated from the
Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science in 1973
with a Bachelor of Science degree in both biology and chemistry.
Dr. John received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree
from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1977, and began
working with his father immediately upon graduation in Northeast
Philadelphia in a practice that his father had started in 1948.
Dr. John sold that practice in 2004 and began considering a new
location in South Jersey, closer to his home. When the property on
the corner of Brewster Rd. and Rte. 40 became available, a state of
the art facility became a reality in May of 2006.
Dr. Marcucci is a member of the American Dental Association, the New
Jersey Dental Association, Southern Dental Association,
International Orthodontic Association, National Association for
Sleep Apnea, and the National Academy of Dental Radiology. He has
been practicing in all areas of dentistry for over 30 years,
including general & cosmetic dentistry, braces for both children and
adults, Invisalign®
(invisible braces), mini implants for stabilizing
dentures and replacing teeth with crowns, and appliances for snoring
and sleep apnea.
Upon graduation from undergraduate school, Dr. Marcucci married
Marilyn, in 1973. They have two adult children:
Christopher, a lawyer practicing in the Cherry Hill area and married
to Joy Marcucci, nee Keeton; and Joshua who owns and manages the
Philadelphia Flight Academy at Cross Keys in Williamstown, NJ.
About Dr. Stephen Altomari
Dr. Stephen Altomari graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pensacola Christian College, and was
featured in Who's Who Among American College Students.
Dr. Steve's academic achievements brought him to the University of Georgia where he conducted scientific research on
monosaccharide composition analysis. His findings were presented at the prestigious Pittsburgh Conference on scientific instrumentation. Dr. Steve was accepted by 6 dental schools before choosing to attend
Temple University School of Dentistry because of their focus on excellent clinical skills for superior patient care.
Dr. Steve attended dental school on an Army scholarship and was the recipient of numerous recognitions, ultimately graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Dr. Steve continued his dental training after dental school by attending an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) course. Here, he learned advanced and modern dental techniques and how to provide world-class dentistry not offered in basic dental school alone. He served in the US Army with distinction, receiving several awards and decorations, honorably discharged at the rank of Captain. Dr. Steve counts his service in the Army as one of his greatest privileges and an experience that helped to shape his world view.
Since entering private practice in the office of Dr. John Marcucci, Dr. Steve has watched his patient population grow due to his expert skills, and caring, compassionate attitude. The practice is located in a state-of-the-art dental building with modern imaging so patients fully understand their treatment options. Dr. Steve is pleased to announce that he is currently accepting new patients.
